Comparing the Mi Note with similar spec-ed phones like the Moto X 2014 (SGD 568), HTC One M8 (SGD 998), Sony Z3 (SGD 998) and OnePlus One (USD 350, note that price varies when importing into SG) the RRP of the Xiaomi Mi Note price is considerably lower than most flagships currently found on the market with the exception of the OnePlus One. The Mi Note sports a glass rear instead of glossy plastic, and a more premium steel frame with chamfered edges.
Xiaomi Mi Note Pro on the other hand, is too early too tell if the price tag is worth the specs as the prices for similar phones with Snapdragon 810 are currently not announced. The Xiaomi Mi Note Pro also sport metal construction and also 4GB of RAM.
The release date for the Xiaomi Mi Note is 27th January 2015 and the Mi Note Pro is end March 2015
